The Family Court website has several publications available for view or download including the prescribed brochure Marriage, Families and Separation with information on: social and legal effects of separation; services provided to families by the Family Court, Federal Circuit Court, and government, community and other agencies; as well as steps involved in court proceedings.

The Legal Aid Qld website offers legal information and publications to help understand legal rights and options. Some of the topics covered under ‘Relationships and children’ include:

Caxton Legal Centre
The Caxton Legal Centre website is a great resource for the community.
They publish factsheets and self-help kits on an extensive range of legal issues.
They also publish the Qld Law Handbook Online which is a comprehensive, plain-English legal resource designed to help the everyday person deal with legal problems.
