Our Nine Promises to Clients
Client Service Differences
- We will fit in with your schedule, so that you don’t need to take time off work
– Whether you need to juggle us around children or work, we can be available after hours if needed, at no extra cost. We also do all appointments possible by phone or video meetings, saving travelling time as well.
- We will communicate with you in plain English, always
– Yes, even our costs agreements are in plain English! We don’t hide fees in legal jargon, and we make sure we give you legal advice you can understand, always.
- We don’t just care about you as a client, we also care about you as a person
– We understand that people don’t usually need lawyers at happy times in their lives. To support you as much as possible, we also have a referral list for further, non-legal help to suit your individual needs.
- Each client benefits from the personal attention of the Principal of our firm
– Our boss is hands-on with all clients that engage our firm, so you can be assured that your work will always be undertaken or directly overseen by the Principal.
Fee Differences
- We leverage the latest in technology to streamline our work and save your money
– Streamlining our work processes by leveraging technology means less time input from us, and more costs savings for you!
- You pay only for what you need, not for what you don’t need!
– We promise to encourage you to attempt settlement of all issues early and will only advise you to go to court as a last resort. We will never pressure you to engage our firm to represent you – it’s fine if you want to represent yourself and just need our assistance to prepare documents or explain the court processes.
- We offer fixed fees for almost all services so that you know our costs upfront
– We understand that seeing a lawyer isn’t usually something clients have budgeted for. So we have available interest free* payment plans to fit in with your budget and reduce financial stress.
- We keep our overheads low so we can pass on costs savings to clients
– Clients benefit from our reduced overheads over bricks and mortar law firms, making our services more accessible.
- We publish our fee schedule (not many law firms do this!)
– We’re not afraid to publish our fees because we know we offer great pricing!
*payment plans are interest free provided that payments are received on time

We not only stand by our costs structure and quality of legal services, we also offer a variety of payment arrangements – because we understand that needing a lawyer is not usually something people have budgeted for.

Are you experiencing behaviours that make you feel threatened, afraid, manipulated or controlled? Or have you been served with an Application for a Protection Order?
Financial Agreements
Whether you want a “prenup”, or to finalise a financial agreement following separation, we can advise you on the best course of action to ensure both parties are protected.
Work licences
If you’re about to lose your Qld drivers licence for drink/ drug driving or points, you may qualify for a work licence (sometimes called a “section 87” licence, a day licence, or a restricted licence).
